Noil Fibers are the short fibers containing crushed pupa that remain after the silk is carded is combed for spinning.  The short fibres and little neps give the noil fibre a nice texture for spinning or silk fusion.  Our noil has been combed, so it will be very clean. 

Spin it as you would cotton and you'll have a lovely yarn

Noil has the strongest silk aroma of all the silks due to the impurities. The majority of the scent dissipates after washing, but can return again when wet.
