Thread Kit - Threaded Dream Studio - Rose Mandala

Price: $46.45 - $53.44

Threaded Dream Studio (Katrina King) has beautiful rose window inspired cross stitch design  in Just Cross Stitch magazine's February 2020 issue...page 32-33

Katrina's "Rose Mandala" is lovely, especially finished using a vintage serving tray with a circular inset.  The design size is 4-7/8" x 4-7/8" when stitched on 28 count linen "over two"  (stitch count 70H x 50W).  The stitches used are cross stich and back stitch.

We've put together a thread kit to make shopping easier for you...if you don't have the JCS February 2020 issue in your library, you can order your kit with the magazine.

Each thread kit includes eight 10-yard skeins of Harmony (6-strand silk floss) in the following colors, all hand-dyed in Colorado.:

     #  31 Cantaloupe
     #  37
Maize
     #  38 Narcissus
     #  47 Cherry Blossom
     #  57 Raven Black
     #313 Midori
     #958 Gypsy Passion
    65 Roses* color "Vanity"

*"65 roses" is how young children with cystic fibrosis often pronounce the name of their disease. We donate 10% of all 65 Roses sales to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of Andrea's angels, to help find a cure.  Thank you for supporting this cause with your purchase of this kit.

80 yards total

Harmony—100% Spun Silk—6 strand floss

--equivalent in size and twist to cotton embroidery floss
--each of the individual 6 strands is a 2-ply thread for pleasurable stitching
--Harmony silk thread can easily be divided or “stranded”

Hand-dyed in Colorado--color fast. We use acid dyes with heat and then rinse until water runs clear.
Wash in tepid or slightly warm water.

The silk is from the Bombyx mori silk worm, often referred to as "mulberry" silk.
