The Handwoven November/December 2015 issue is themed "2-shuttle weaves" 

Betsy Blumenthal created a beautiful Color and Weave scarf using Zola silk and Carmela (p 20-32).  What makes Betsy's scarf exceptionally lovely is she used one shade of red in the warp and a different shade of red in the weft.  Using two different reds creates a richness and depth of color to the scarf. 

You can create your own personalized version of this scarf, by either selecting two shades of your favorite color to pair with Carmela.
