Handwoven Magazine Cotton Issue
A cotton issue on Treenway Silks?! ...I'm sure you are wondering "why?"
That's because the project, "A Blouse for Susan" on page 56-5,8 is made with our Silken Cloud yarn, 70% silk / 30% cotton.
Sandra Hutton wove the fabric and sewed the blouse--and I'm the lucky Susan who is the happy owner! Every time I wear this blouse, I never want to take it off--the fabric woven from Silken Cloud is absolutely heavenly to the touch!
The color we selected is #41 Pistachio--a pale sagey-green that is really lovely and goes with many things in my closet (unfortunately, it printed as dirty white in the magazine, but trust me, it's a really pretty color!)
Light colors are always a good choice for a lace weave structure and we offer many choices. To order your Silken Cloud dyed, click here (or here for our natural dye colors).
Happy weaving!

note--as always, our postage estimate is high (we never know what size/shape the total items that your cart may contain, which affects shipping cost). If you're JUST getting the book, shipping costs to a US address will be $7.15. You won't see this when you check out, but after your package has shipped, a human (me) will finalize your "pending" credit card charge to reflect the actual postage cost.
