LIMITED EDITION Rigid Heddle Weaving Kit designed and woven by Anu Bhatia 

Love clasped weft weaving?  Have you tried using clasped warp, making each end of your scarf different colors?  You can do both with Anu's new Azul Verde do Mar (Portuguese for "Blue-Green Sea") silk scarf.

This scarf first appeared on the Schacht website in their project area, using Treenway Silks' Kiku silk yarn.

Anu has used a 15 dent reed (yup! they're a recent introduction!)  However, we think a 12-dent reed will work, just watch your beat (don't pack in too hard).  If you get tired and decide not to weave clasped weft throughout the scarf, then you'll need to double the yarn for each weft shot.

We love how this scarf lends itself to many color combinations.  You just need two contrasting colors of silk.  We've put together some limited edition kits.  Many of the color combinations are one-of-a-kind!
