Schacht created a special 50th anniversary version of their shuttles--made of Ash, an American hard wood, cherished for it's strength and lovely grain.

These are Schacht's 11" slim style (my favorite--great for holding silk), which has an open botttom, and uses 4.5" bobbins (meausred end-to-end).
