USUALLY inspired by actual roses, this 65 Roses® colorway is perpetual..we continue to dye it.

There's a mystical rose, also known as "Death Rose"...the sentiment might be spooky, but the colors are so lovely, we were inspried to interpret the greens and purples of folklore's Rosa Calvaria.  We think the results are quite stunning!  Click HERE to see this folkflore rose.

“65 Roses®” is a term often used by young children with cystic fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease.

--equivalent in size and twist to #8 perle
--2-ply thread, not designed to separate the strands
--a wonderfully easy thread to use
--suitable for decorative stitches on 18-mesh canvas

Hand-dyed in Colorado--color fast. We use acid dyes with heat and then rinse until water runs clear.
Wash in tepid or slightly warm water.

The silk is from the Bombyx mori silk worm, often referred to as "mulberry" silk.
