Kit - Weaving - 2 Skeins=2 Scarves; 'Summertime' Huck

Price: $54.00

4 Shaft Weaving Kit

You need just 4 shafts and two skeins of Silken Cloud (70% bombyx silk / 30% cotton) yarn to weave these scrumptious Huck Lace Scarves for summer!

Sandy Hutton used Silken Cloud yarn to create the “Blouse for Susan”, published in Handwoven J/F 2015. We both love the large lace block set between stripes of plain weave, so Sandy used it again to create this lacey scarf. I absoluely love wearing my blouse--the fabric is wonderful against my skin.  I know you'll love wearing this scarf just as much!

The silk/cotton blend gives these lovely scarves a crisp hand which softens while you wear it and stays cool. This is the perfect scarf to wear at summer events.

Sandy wove her scarves in the natural white.  We love color--so we've dyed these favorite colors for you:
--Celadon Green--a lovely pale green as it makes us think of summer (it's a softer and lighter green than the photo at left)
--Ballet Slippers (medium-light pink kissed with a violet undertone)
--Peach Frappe (a sophisticated peachy color)

If a color doesn't appear in the drop down box, then we are sold us if you'd like us to dye it for you.

Anyone on your gift-list would love getting one of these scarves.

Each kit includes:

--two skeins of Silken Cloud (70% silk/30% cotton)
natural or dyed (see drop down box for color options currently available)
--a printed copy of the pattern draft.

To see the draft immediately, you can download it at FREE weaving draft.

Makes two scarves, each scarf is approx. 8.5" wide, 72" long, sett 30 EPI.
