Hand–dyed Colors

All bales arrive here undyed. We have 100 hand–dyed colours that we can dye any of our silk yarns for you.

Irregularities within a skein are part of the hand-dyeing process. Colors may vary between dyelots.

There is a minimum order of one skein per yarn type (approximate weight per skein indicated below).

Hand-dyed Silk Yarns and Silk Ribbons

All our yarns and ribbons (page 1) are available in 100 hand-dyed colors. Our yarns are special because they are hand-dyed in Colorado. [hot link this to a new section under 'who we are'] It can be expected that colors will vary from dye lot to dye lot. Irregularities within a skein are part of the hand-dyeing process.

For the total price of a dyed yarn or ribbon, add the dyeing charges to the cost of the natural yarn. You may mix and match yarns and ribbons to be dyed the same color to take advantage of the multi-skein dyeing rates.

Note:

• Please allow 4 weeks for dyeing. We try to be quicker but cannot guarantee speedier service.

•Dye orders of $150 or more require a non-refundable 25% deposit.

Silk Spinner Hand Scrub

An herbal and botanical lotion to soften and heal your skin. A natural alternative to cortisone creams for calming itches. Soothes sun, wind and radiation burns and helps heal stubborn cracked skin.

Includes calendula, nettle, chamomile, arnica, burdock root, rose petals, comfrey root and leaf plus much more. Unscented.
