treenway silks

Most everyone's daily life is full, leaving little creative time available for weaving, our personal pleasure. We understand a lot more productive weaving can be done if a lively fusion of yarns, colors, and pattern is already calculated and wound, just needing to be dressed on the loom and woven. We hope there is a kit just right for you.

Our scarves are designed by Karen Selk, Treenway Silks founder, and are beautifully presented. Each scarf kit contains a pre-wound warp long enough for one or two scarves, weft yarns and complete warping and weaving instructions.

Yak, camel, angora rabbit, wool, cashmere, cotton and ramie are animal and plant fibres carded with silk for exotic yarn blends. The variance of natural color, texture and yarn twist creates subtle stripes in both warp and weft.

The Bonanza provides a perfect opportunity to feel and work with seven special blends. Scarf approx. 6" wide by 50", 36 epi on 30/2 silk warp.
